When the handle is extended to the desired length, allow the release button to seat back into the pre-set slot to lock in handle length. "I have one already and really like it over anything I have had. This is the second one I have ordered and only thing I can say bad is it is still backordered from June 1st and is suppose to ship on June 30, Must mean lots of other people like them too. I had an older version and the padding on the handle starting coming off so I taped it. I lost it going across the lake and it sank, so much for floating. I like the coloring and love how the handle slides. I also like the clear rubber net, it seems to spook the fish less and easier to get lures out. I do like having the choice of changing net sizes easily although the medium is a little lighter than the large and works for 90 percent of the fish I catch (walleye, northern, bass and small muskies (35 inch or less)."

"I had my first EGO expandable net for several years. The foam on the handle was cheap and didn’t last long so I wrapped the handle with baseball bat grip tape. It was perfect until it blew off the top of my boat and sank. I ordered a new EGO KRYPEK S2 the same day. The handle has a better quality rubber handle grip and extends with silk smoothness. Great improvement, Great product. Pricy but you get what you pay for."

"Just got back from a 5 day excursion for walleye and perch in Lake Erie. The net worked flawlessly and netted many walleye and several large drum without issues. I love the extended handle feature which is the main reason I purchased this product as several other manufacturers don’t offer a rubber net with an extendable handle. I would advise to follow EGO’s product recommendation and not try to land a fish of excessive weight without retracting the handle prior to boating the fish. I ordered this net with time running short prior to my scheduled trip date to ensure that I would receive my net prior to my departure date. The net arrived with time to spare. Cutoes to EGO’s Customer Service, they did not disappoint me. I’d buy this net again if needed. 👍"
