The S1 Genesis 31" detachable handle utilizes a strong lightweight hexagonal extruded aluminum design that provides economical and dependable functionality. With a simple twist of the wrist any EGO S1 or S2 net head or attachment tool can be securely fastened and ready for use. The modular platform allows for component interchangeability and compact storage. The handles are designed with a solid foam core body that provides floatation should it be dropped overboard.

"I inadvertently snapped the handle off my Genesis S1 net, grabbing it to net a fish while it was still strapped down. New handle ordered, came a day early and fits perfectly. It is black instead of the blue / white mix of the original but I actually like the color better. Good experience overall"

"When I first purchased the S1 Genesis net the handle had a loose wobble where it screwed into the net. I put teflon tape and electrical tape around the threads but it still had a looseness and always wanted to back out. Eventually it broke at the threads. That being said I do love everything else about the S1 Genesis like feel, comfort,weight and deep rubber net. Since receiving the replacement handle it seems to fit perfectly so far. I also bought replacement part for the old handle but the rivet hole didn't line up so I had to modify it and it still has wobble. Great net just sad that the original handle may have had a defect and cost me $20.00 to replace. If the new handle holds true I'll be very happy."

"I have EGO that I find perfect for lake/boat fishing. A grandson broke the handle off it, how I don’t know. I tried getting parts and fixing it from website, bad idea! Finally I called EGO customer service, gave them my story. In a matter of seconds I had the correct handle on the way. It worked like a charm and I’m back fishing, confident I’ll land fish without injuring them! Fine curtious understanding employees , real people to help you! Thank you"
