"Really neat design. I'm using it for kayak fishing. I was disappointed that the handle is so thick. It won't fit in a rod holder. It is a tiny bit heavier than I expected but I understand that's likely in response to earlier models that had failures. I probably would have selected a different model had I realized the handle was so thick. The net material is fantastic and makes getting fish and lures out easy."

- Hello. Is the Slider2 clear net medium good for fly fishing for trout? I’m concerned the net holes may be too large?
- The EGO S2 Slider Compact Clear Rubber net works very well for catching trout (mesh bag is soft on the fish for catch and release and holes are not too big). However, it is best used on a float tube or some type of boat. If you are planning to bank or river fish then this net will be a little heavy to attach to your vest, etc.
