To extend the EGO S2 Slider, press and hold the black release button with your thumb and pull the foam rubber handle section. When the handle is extended to the desired length, allow the release button to seat back into the pre-set slot to lock in handle length. TO CORRECTLY LIFT HEAVIER LANDING NET LOADS, LIFT THE WEIGHT MORE VERTICALLY.

"If you want a net that day in and day out performs great on all sizes of fish - this is a great net. Although the handle is less than 2.5 feet long when collapsed - as with all Ego Slider nets you can quickly extend it to 5 feet long to reach out and get that fish that is trying to get away. I use this net often in rivers or other places where I am vertical jigging or bringing the fish up from right under the boat. Based on how close (or far) the fish is from the boat - I can make quick adjustments with the Slider handle to have the perfect length net."
