When the handle is extended to the desired length, allow the release button to seat back into the pre-set slot to lock in handle length. I use a long handle often for walleye, but it’s a pain to store it in the rod holder when it’s so long (it rocks too violently especially in waves) This net is perfect - it collapses to a short handle so quickly & smoothly it can be shortened easily every time I store it and extended immediately when I’m netting - no lag time to extend instantly when needed for a fish."

"Received net and in looking it over, everything looks and works great. Net, hoop are right size, pole extends like it should. There is a 12 lb limit on net with pole fully extended. Weak point is definitely the yoke where the handle screws in."

"Have had a chance to use this and seems to be okay so far. Handle slide is convenient and seems to work smooth. Net size is good for walleye. My only complaint is that hooks still penetrate the nylon areas that connect the net together. They are hard to get out. They are fine on the webbing that is PVC coated. Overall a good product."
