so do i need to order both the screw in plastic piece and the grip to make it work again
If the grip on your current net head is not damaged you can use it again and just get the threaded part you need.
Will this take a screw in extension handle
The EGO Grip by itself will not take a screw in extension handle. It would also require the aluminum insert section attached to the hoop frame that has the threaded component in it.
