To extend the EGO S2 Slider, press and hold the black release button with your thumb and pull the foam rubber handle section. When the handle is extended to the desired length, allow the release button to seat back into the pre-set slot to lock in handle length. "30 day review: I have had the chance to use my Kryptec Slider Net multiple times now, and I really, really love this Net. I kayak fish, and this Net is great addition to my arsenal. My previous Net was a Frabill Conservation Saltwater. This is a good Net, but it has two major flaws. (1) on multiple occasions, it would separate from the handle while deploying it. (2) It didn't have a locking mechanism to keep it compacted when closed, and would always open up. I had to modify it by adding another button to keep it closed. The Kryptec Slider has solved both of those issues by incorporating a different way of deploying and retracting the Net. Their ingenious way the handle works is flawless. A single button controls both deployment and retraction. Their engineers got this Right! I have found two minor issues, that I'd like to see incorporated in future generations. (1) There are only a few positions that the Net can be set to. By adding a few more adjustment points, this would give it more versatility. (2) When using the Net without the long adjustable handle, Yes, this gives you the opportunity of have two Nets in one. The handle attached to the Net is too large in diameter, and doesn't feel comfortable in the hand. Overall, I would recommend the purchase of the Kryptec S2 Slider Net. The functionality and esthetics is a winning combination!"
