I’ve had a different net

"I’ve had a different net for over 30 years and never needed to replace any parts where the screw part goes to this piece has worked itself loose a couple of times and I have to park it and I’ve replaced a couple of these like the fact that I can extend it further than the others But for the price of this net I would not buy another one because of the looseness on the end needs to be a little solider better design"

Why is this part not made of metal?
The threaded insert is not made of metal because primarily because of cost. It would be a very tricky part to CNC which makes it very expensive to produce and would push the retail cost of the entire product up.
I72000 threaded insert. Does this install in the aluminum hex part of the net. Will it install in the guide net handle.
The threaded insert (I72000) does install in the aluminum hex part of the net head. These components are universal in all EGO S1 and S2 landing nets and will work on the guide net.
