Die Cast Alloy Threaded Tip

"New tip came as expected and was easy to replace. Disappointed that this part failed in the first place. I know a machined part would be more expensive, but the trade-off in higher quality and performance should have made the decision easily."

When my net was broken

"When my net was broken I just figured I would have to buy a new net. But the company had replacement parts at a very respectable price,so instead of buying a new net I bought a new part for $6. 00. I love the net had it for 7 years has been a great addition to my pontoon"

Replacement Parts

"I was thrilled to find a replacement threaded insert for the end of my handle. I was thrilled to find that I could purchase a replacement threaded insert for my dip net handle. Purchase and replacement were both quick and easy."

Replacement parts amazing idea

"Such an amazing idea to be able to repair / replacement parts instead of buying a new net thats in great shape otherwise. I torn the foam handle and bought the replacement foam for 5 bucks way better than 90 bucks for a new handle."

Net piece

"Good piece to make my net like new again very easy to get the old piece out and the new piece in."

Die-cast alloy threaded connector

"The replacement connector (purchased 2 of them) failed to be properly drilled through the connector for a riveted connection to my net. A quick fix by drilling through the connector allowed be to utilize a stainless steel bolt and stainless nylon nut to properly fix the issue. My concern remains regarding the longevity of the cast connector which is why I purchased 2 of them as shipping equaled the cost of a single part. I was very pleased that a replacement part existed and at a reasonable price. Shipping was very timely subsequent to my order so the net is back in service."

I recommend that have the

"I recommend that have the threaded tip predrilled for an easier replacement. I had a sharp bit and it doesn't drill very easy."

"Worked out very nicely."

Threaded insert replacement

"Removing the broken insert and replacing it will require some tools. I’m glad I had them otherwise it wouldn’t have been an easy task"

Fixes one issue, causes another.

"The part is great. It solves the issue. However, one of their methods for replacement causes the net to malfunction with no way to correct afterwards"

Q&A

I want to get an extension 4 foot for my net what do I order?
We don't have extensions for handles specifically. However, we do have different handle lengths in the S1 and S2 Slider series. There is a 55" handle in the S1 series and there is the 29" to 60" and 48" to 108" in the S2 Slider series. one of these options may provide the length you are needing.
Wondering how this installed.
We will email the replacement instructions directly to you.

How to install this tip? Special tool required?
The instructions have been sent to your individual email.
Ordered the Die Cast Alloy threaded tip for a replacement part. The old part broke and is stuck in the handle. I am hoping for some directions on how to replace the part.
Replacement instructions have been emailed to you.
best way to remove is broken in half and need to remove the insert in handle rivet has been drilled out but broken half insert will not budge
In this case the best thing to do is punch the part down lower in the handle making room for the new threaded tip.
Once the new threaded tip is seated in the shaft do I need to drill the new seated tip to install the rivet ? The hole that lines up with the hole in threaded tip seems big for the supplied rivet
A new hole will need to be drilled in the threaded tip on the underside of the handle where the old rivet was seated. The hole size should be approx. 3 mm.
Can I buy these parts in Australia
These parts are only available directly from us but we do ship all over the world.
What size is the rivet?
The rivet has a 3mm diameter.
The handle as a crack where the parts is broke. Can i cut the handle a little do a new hole for the rivet and put the new parts in it?
The handle can be cut but understand that if it is modified then when closing it the outer sleeve will not seat all the way flush with the grip area.
