"A pike made his head through my rubber mesh one, thought I would try this one, but overall this is the only net I will ever own"
Hope the replacement is better than the original.
"The original net that came with the EGO lasted only 1 day of fishing in Canada. The Northern Pike cut the net like twine. I had a big hole in it after the 2nd pike was landed. I had to lash it back together with Spider wire. The rubber coating is very thin and does almost no good. Hooks still get embedded in the mesh. I love the EGO landing net system, but the net mesh really needs to be thicker and better coated. Everything about the net mesh is covered by warranty, I hope I don't have to replace this net mesh bag after every trip to Canada. If this bag gets shredded by Northern Pike quickly again. I will try the rubber version."
